Short Term Care
Short Term Care plans, also known as convalescent
care plans, are plans that help cover your expenses
associated from care received after rehabilitation from a hospital stay, recovery from illness or recovery from injury or surgery. These plans generally have a benefit period of one year or less.
Consider this; Medicare generally does not pay for short or long-term care. Medicare also doesn’t pay for help with activities of daily living. Some examples of activities of daily living include bathing yourself, feeding yourself and getting dressed.
